Insuralex – Mid Year Meeting – Dec 2014
Brief
We needed to take on the overall event management and production of this structured meeting for this worldwide network of independent insurance and re-insurance lawyers, including the integration of the new board. Delegates from all over the world over a 3 day period, including venue management, security, seminar production, networking, accommodation, entertainment, all materials, promotional gifts and logistics.
Solution
We wanted something different rather than a traditional hotel, so we booked the landmark Lloyd’s Building, which is the home of the insurance institution, located in London‘s primary financial district and internationally-renowned for its award-winning modern construction.
We designed and managed invitations and rsvp’s in order to organise delegate attendance, accommodation and travel arrangements. We arranged a detailed programme giving information on all forms of transport to the event along with local restaurants and activities for spouses and families who may be joining group members.
The event began with board and past officers dinner, the next day board meeting, organised tours of Lloyd’s, members received firm news and updates, registrations, 2 hour seminar followed by a mesmerising cocktail reception and then the final day we had the members meeting with carriages to and from the closing dinner (although some opted to stay on with the use of our programme).
Outcome
The feedback gathered during the event from the video footage and vox pops showed members and guests felt part of an integrated group and confident the group will provide great opportunities to increase referrals and network with other professionals. Click here to view the video review.
